Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

  • patrol to deter crime and reassure the public

  • hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns

  • work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups

  • tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability

  • build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Although no illegal e‑scooters or e‑bikes have been directly encountered during patrols in Hildenborough, officers are aware of ongoing issues linked to a larger group frequently seen in Tonbridge town centre.

Activity linked to this group is being monitored through wider neighbourhood policing work. This includes intelligence gathering, targeted patrols and engagement to help identify riders and prevent illegal use.

This approach helps ensure that any emerging concerns in Hildenborough are considered as part of the wider, district‑wide response already in place.

Officers have carried out high‑visibility patrols across Hildenborough to deter vehicle‑related crime and provide reassurance. Patrols have focused on specific locations and times linked to recent reports.

The use of the speed gun forms part of this proactive work, helping to identify drivers committing offences and supporting wider investigations into vehicle‑related crime. Relevant reports are being progressed, with information gathered used to support ongoing enquiries and ensure offenders are identified and dealt with appropriately.
