Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Road safety. Issued 15 April 2026	Road safety remains a key concern for residents in Hildenborough, particularly around speeding and road traffic collisions. Officers continue to work with Kent County Council, the parish council and other partner agencies to review traffic and collision data, helping to identify trends, locations of concern and opportunities to improve road safety. Regular high-visibility patrols have taken place along the B245 London Road to provide reassurance to residents and encourage safe and considerate driving. Speed enforcement activity has also been carried out, with most drivers found to be complying with the speed limit. Antisocial behaviour - general. Issued 15 April 2026	Reports of antisocial behaviour in Hildenborough have remained low during this reporting period, with very few incidents requiring police intervention. Some concerns have been raised about groups of young people gathering at the recreation ground during the evenings. Following enquiries and patrols, officers found that the behaviour reported was largely normal social activity and did not amount to significant antisocial behaviour. One incident involving a "knock and run" prank resulted in minor damage to a property. Officers spoke with those involved and the matter was resolved locally between the parties, meaning no further police action was required. Officers will continue to patrol the area, engage with residents and respond to any concerns raised by the community. Actioned 02 July 2026

Issued 15 April 2026	As the weather has improved and the summer months have arrived, officers have seen an increase in reports of nuisance motorcycles, e-scooters and e-bikes in the Coldharbour Lane and Horns Lodge Lane areas. Residents have raised concerns about noise, antisocial behaviour, rider safety and the illegal use of vehicles on public land and public rights of way. In response, officers are carrying out targeted patrols and enforcement activity in identified hotspot locations. Work is also ongoing to identify repeat offenders and gather information about those involved. Where offences are identified, appropriate action will be taken. This may include a Section 59 warning, which can be issued when a vehicle is being used in a way that causes alarm, distress or annoyance. If the behaviour continues, the vehicle can be seized. Officers will continue to monitor reports, take action where necessary and work to reduce antisocial behaviour and improve safety for local residents. Actioned 02 July 2026
