Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Nuisance motorcycles. Issued 03 February 2026	Officers have been carrying out high‑visibility patrols in hotspot areas where antisocial behaviour has been reported. A joint visit has also taken place with partner agencies to target repeat offenders. One illegal bike was seized, and the rider was reported for driving offences. In a separate incident, another rider was given a Section 59 warning due to antisocial behaviour. A Section 59 warning is issued when a vehicle is being used in a way that causes alarm, distress or annoyance to the public. If the rider or the bike is seen causing antisocial behaviour again, police have the power to seize the bike. Actioned 23 March 2026

Officers have also stopped and checked a number of vehicles believed to be linked to drug‑related activity. Several vehicles were seized for having no insurance, and a number of drivers were reported for a range of driving offences. Patrols are continuing to focus on hotspot locations identified by residents. Actioned 23 March 2026
Antisocial behaviour (ASB) - general. Issued 03 February 2026	Acceptable Behaviour Agreements were issued to children identified as being involved in local disorder. These agreements have had a positive impact and have helped reduce incidents of antisocial behaviour. An Acceptable Behaviour Agreement sets clear expectations about behaviour and supports young people and their families to make positive changes. Close joint working with partner agencies has further supported this reduction, helping to ensure a coordinated and effective approach across the district. In addition, targeted activity at addresses linked to antisocial behaviour has identified drug dealing activity in the Repton and Goat Lees areas. This work has led to several arrests for offences including obstructing police and possession of an offensive weapon. These actions have disrupted criminal activity and helped improve community safety. We continue to work closely with relevant housing associations to achieve a lasting, long‑term reduction in antisocial behaviour. Actioned 23 March 2026
