Dear Resident,
Neighbourhood Officers will be holding The Butterfly Project - Walk and Talk, meeting outside Starbucks, Ashford Designer Outlet, Kimberley Way, Ashford, TN24 0SD at 18:00 hours on Saturday 26th September 2026. We would like to invite residents, businesses and visitors to take part in a Butterfly Project Walk and Talk in Ashford. The Butterfly Project is a joint project between Kent Police, Rising Sun and local community partners. The project aims to raise awareness of women’s safety by using innovative local artwork to encourage conversations, provide information, and signpost victims to support services and reporting routes. During the event, we will walk between the Butterfly Project murals and discuss their themes at the following locations: 🦋 Ashford Designer Outlet - Welcome to the Butterfly Project & Support provided by Rising Sun. Along the route, there will be opportunities to learn more about the project, scan information linked to key topics and speak directly with local officers about any questions or concerns you may have. Whether you would like to join us for the entire walk, just part of the route, or simply enjoy some company on a walk back into Ashford town centre, you are very welcome to join us. This is a chance to meet your local neighbourhood team, learn about the support available, and hear about your biggest local priorities.
