Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Road safety. Issued 22 July 2026	The local officer continues to carry out speed enforcement activity across the rural area, focusing on locations where speeding has been identified as a concern. Using knowledge of the local road network and information provided by residents, checks are carried out at suitable locations to identify drivers who may be putting themselves and others at risk. Where offences are detected, drivers may face prosecution or be offered educational opportunities to help them better understand the dangers of speeding and its impact on road safety. Catapults. Issued 22 July 2026	The local officer continues to address concerns about the misuse of catapults in the area through targeted patrols and ongoing engagement with the community. Working with colleagues and specialist teams, officers gather information, identify locations where incidents have been reported and take action to deter and disrupt this type of behaviour. Regular patrols are carried out in areas of concern, and information provided by residents plays an important role in helping officers identify those involved.
