Paddock Wood
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Road safety issues. Issued 21 April 2026 |
Officers have been carrying out regular patrols in and around Paddock Wood to address road safety concerns and vehicle-related offences. Working alongside PC Scudder, officers have dealt with a number of motorists for a range of offences, issued Traffic Offence Reports (TORs) where appropriate and provided advice to drivers regarding speeding, dangerous parking and other road safety concerns. A TOR is a formal report issued when a driver is suspected of committing a road traffic offence and may result in a fixed penalty notice, driver education course or court action. Catapults. Issued 21 April 2026 |
Officers continue to take proactive action to tackle catapult-related incidents in the Paddock Wood area. As a result of ongoing patrols, investigations and community engagement, action has been taken against 10 young people in connection with offences involving catapults. Officers have also seized a number of catapults during foot patrols before any offences were committed, helping to prevent further incidents and reduce the risk to the community. Antisocial behaviour - nuisance. Issued 21 April 2026 |
Whilst antisocial behaviour can cover a wide range of issues, officers have responded to a variety of incidents over recent months. In addition to taking action against young people involved in catapult-related offences and nuisance bike activity, a number of Acceptable Behaviour Agreements (ABAs) have been issued to young people involved in antisocial behaviour. An ABA is a voluntary agreement that sets clear expectations of behaviour and aims to prevent further incidents. Actioned 21 July 2026 |
