Cage Green & Angel
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive
Neighbourhood policing is a key part of Kent Police’s commitment to being community-focused, visible, and responsive.

ASB - General. Issued 09 October 2025 |
We have increased patrols in known problem areas when resources allow. On 3 December 2025, we removed a woman involved in anti-social behaviour and she was transported to Tunbridge Wells. On 20 November 2025, we carried out a stop and search on Cannon Lane, Tonbridge, where cannabis was found and seized. On the same day, two further stop and searches took place outside Iceland, where goods were seized and the individuals were dealt with appropriately by interview. Actioned 09 October 2025 |

Dog fouling. Issued 09 October 2025 |
Dog fouling is predominantly an issue for the local council, however, if members of public are witnessed failing to clear up after their dogs then they can be dealt with by way of fixed penalty notices for breaching the public space protection order in place for Tonbridge and Malling district. Actioned 03 January 2026 |

Road safety issues. Issued 09 October 2025 |
We have been focusing on road safety in the area. Speed checks were carried out on Yardley Park Road. On 15 November 2025, a driver on Tonbridge High Street was stopped for using a mobile phone while driving, following a short foot chase. On 20 November 2025, a driver on Cannon Lane was issued a penalty for driving without a valid licence and insurance. On 25 November 2025, another driver on Cannon Lane received a penalty for not having a valid MOT. Officers will continue to deal with offences appropriately and efficiently.
