Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

This reflects the ongoing work of the beat team to identify emerging issues early and deal with them quickly. Regular engagement with residents, partner agencies and community groups helps make sure concerns are raised promptly and addressed in a targeted way. Antisocial behaviour - nuisance. Issued 03 February 2026	Levels of nuisance‑related antisocial behaviour have also reduced. This includes fewer reports of noise issues, minor disorder, youth gatherings, and behaviour that, while not criminal, causes ongoing annoyance to residents. Officers continue to carry out foot and vehicle patrols in areas previously identified as hotspots. We also work with housing providers, youth services and schools to make sure those causing repeated nuisance are supported, challenged and held accountable where appropriate. Actioned 30 March 2026

The team regularly reviews collision data and speeding reports to make sure resources are used where they will have the most impact.
