Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Issued 20 July 2026	Reports of antisocial behaviour have been incorporated into local taskings and CCTV footage has been reviewed regularly to ensure an intelligence-led approach to problem solving and enforcement. Officers have continued to support local council meetings and community surgeries, working closely with partner agencies to identify concerns, share information, and develop long-term solutions to issues affecting residents. Catapults. Issued 20 July 2026	Officers have supported ongoing operations aimed at addressing reports concerning the misuse of catapults and increasing community reassurance. Engagement has been carried out following the reporting of incidents and officers have looked to improve intelligence gathering. In addition, high-visibility patrols have been conducted in affected areas to provide a visible policing presence, increase public confidence, and deter those involved in offending behaviour. E-scooters/E-bikes. Issued 20 July 2026	Officers have continued to work alongside colleagues from Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council Safer Streets Team throughout the summer period to address concerns relating to e-scooters and e-bikes involved in antisocial behaviour. Joint engagement and patrol activity have focused on educating riders about legal requirements and responsible use, whilst also identifying opportunities to take appropriate enforcement action where offences or persistent antisocial behaviour have been identified. This partnership approach aims to reduce nuisance behaviour, improve public confidence, and promote the safe and lawful use of e-bikes and e-scooters within the community. Actioned 30 September 2026
