Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Road safety issues. Issued 20 July 2026	Officers participated in a joint speeding enforcement operation on 11 September 2026 in Tonbridge High Street and surrounding areas. The operation resulted in a number of Traffic Offence Reports being issued for various traffic offences, contributing to ongoing efforts to improve driver behaviour and road safety. E-scooters/E-bikes. Issued 20 July 2026	Officers remain aware of ongoing concerns relating to the unlawful use of e-scooters and e-bikes. Enforcement can be challenging due to riders leaving the area when challenged by police. Despite this, officers continue to patrol hotspot locations and seek opportunities to engage with riders, gather intelligence, and take appropriate action where offences are identified. Drink/drug driving. Issued 20 July 2026	Officers continue to proactively monitor for drivers under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Officers have continued to stop vehicles during patrols, particularly on late shifts, to assess driver fitness and identify any concerns relating to impairment.
