Nuisance vehicles.

Officers continue to respond to reports of nuisance motorcycles in Harvest Field, Crockenhill through targeted patrols and enforcement activity. Following reports from residents, officers identified 2 motorcycles linked to the concerns and issued Section 59 warnings to both riders. A Section 59 warning can be issued when a vehicle is being used in a way that causes alarm, distress or annoyance to others. If the behaviour continues, the vehicle may be seized by police.

Officers have also carried out a site assessment to identify key access points being used by off-road motorcycles. These findings have been shared with the local parish council, and options are being considered to help prevent unauthorised vehicle access and reduce nuisance behaviour. Officers will continue to patrol the area, monitor reports and work with residents to identify offenders and take appropriate action where necessary. Residents are encouraged to continue reporting incidents, as information from the community helps officers target enforcement activity and improve safety in the area.

Officers continue to work with residents and local communities to address antisocial behaviour linked to nuisance vehicles, including off-road motorcycles and quad bikes. Reports from the community help officers identify problem locations, gather intelligence and target enforcement activity where it is most needed. By tackling nuisance vehicle use, officers aim to reduce the wider impact of antisocial behaviour and improve community safety. Residents are encouraged to continue reporting incidents and concerns, as information from the public plays an important role in helping officers identify emerging issues and take appropriate action.

Vehicle crime.

Officers continue to carry out patrols in Crockenhill to provide a visible presence, respond to community concerns and help prevent crime. During the last 2 months, there have been 3 reports of vehicle crime in the area. While enquiries were carried out, those responsible have not yet been identified. Officers continue to monitor reports, carry out proactive patrols and work to identify offenders where possible. Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity promptly, as information from the community can help officers secure evidence, identify offenders and prevent further offences.
