Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

Through ongoing patrols and community engagement, officers continue to work to reduce nuisance vehicle use and improve safety for local residents. Issued 20 July 2026	Officers continue to carry out high-visibility patrols in Otford and Shoreham to provide reassurance to residents, deter antisocial behaviour and identify any emerging issues. Reports of antisocial behaviour have remained low during this reporting period, which is a positive sign for the local community. Although incidents have been limited, officers will continue to monitor the area, respond to concerns raised by residents and take action where necessary. This priority will be reviewed to ensure it continues to reflect the issues that matter most to the community and remains aligned with local policing demand. Residents are encouraged to continue reporting incidents and concerns, as information from the public helps officers identify emerging issues early, target patrols effectively and direct resources where they are needed most. Speed checks are carried out at locations where concerns have been raised, helping to identify speeding drivers and improve safety for all road users. A speed enforcement operation took place on 9 September 2026 on Shoreham Road, Otford, and a further 5 speed check dates are planned before the end of November, alongside additional checks at varying times and locations. Residents are encouraged to report dangerous, antisocial or inconsiderate driving, as information from the community helps officers identify problem locations and direct enforcement activity where it is most needed. Through ongoing patrols, speed enforcement and community engagement, officers continue to work to improve road safety and reduce offending on local roads. Actioned 30 September 2026
