Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability

Nuisance antisocial behaviour. Issued 20 July 2026	Officers continue to monitor and respond to reports of antisocial behaviour at Riverside. Regular patrols are carried out to provide reassurance to residents, deter offending and identify any emerging issues. The introduction of a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) has given officers additional powers to address behaviour that has a negative impact on the community and has contributed to a reduction in reports of antisocial behaviour in recent months. Officers will continue to work with residents and partner organisations to monitor the area, take action where necessary and help ensure Riverside remain a safe and welcoming place for everyone. Residents are encouraged to continue reporting incidents, as information from the community helps officers identify offenders and target patrols where they are most needed. Actioned 30 September 2026
Poaching. Issued 20 July 2026	Officers continue to work with the Rural Task Force to tackle wildlife crime, including reports of poaching in the Westwell, Eastwell, Charing and Brabourne areas. Following recent incidents, officers seized vehicles linked to suspected poaching activity and enquiries remain ongoing to identify those responsible. Regular patrols are carried out in known hotspot locations, and officers will continue to stop and disrupt suspicious vehicles where appropriate. Residents are encouraged to report any suspicious activity, as information from the public plays an important role in helping officers prevent wildlife crime and protect rural communities. Nuisance vehicles. Issued 20 July 2026	Officers continue to respond to reports of nuisance vehicles in the Riverside and Eynsford Rise areas through targeted patrols and enforcement activity. Following concerns raised by residents, an off-road motorcycle was seized on Bower Lane, Eynsford using Section 59 powers. A Section 59 warning can be issued when a vehicle is being used in a way that causes alarm, distress or annoyance to others, and continued offending may result in the vehicle being seized. Officers continue to build intelligence around those involved in nuisance vehicle use and antisocial behaviour, working to identify offenders and take appropriate action where evidence exists. Information provided by residents plays a vital role in helping officers identify those responsible, link incidents to individuals and addresses, and target enforcement activity where it is most needed. Through ongoing patrols, community engagement and enforcement, officers remain committed to reducing the impact of nuisance vehicles and improving community safety. Actioned 30 September 2026
