Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Vehicle crime. Issued 20 July 2026	Officers continue to tackle vehicle crime through proactive patrols and investigations. During the last 2 months, 3 vehicle thefts were reported in the area, and officers were able to quickly locate and recover 2 of the stolen vehicles. As a result of one investigation, an arrest was made. Officers continue to work closely with specialist investigation teams to review evidence, progress enquiries and identify those responsible. Residents are encouraged to report suspicious activity as soon as possible, as timely reporting can significantly improve opportunities to recover stolen vehicles and identify offenders. Through ongoing patrols, investigations and community engagement, officers continue to work to prevent vehicle crime and provide reassurance to local residents. Actioned 30 September 2026
Road safety. Issued 20 July 2026	Officers continue to address road safety concerns through targeted patrols and enforcement activity in response to concerns raised by residents. Speed checks are carried out in locations identified as problem areas, helping to identify speeding drivers and improve safety for all road users. Officers also engage with motorists to promote safe and responsible driving and take action where offences are detected. Through ongoing patrols, enforcement and community engagement, officers continue to work to improve road safety and reduce the risk of collisions on local roads. Actioned 30 September 2026
Burglary - residential. Issued 20 July 2026	Officers continue to work with residents and local communities to prevent burglary and theft. There have been no reports of residential burglary in the area during this reporting period. However, officers have responded to other theft-related incidents, including a garage break-in and the theft of 2 dogs from a farm. Both dogs were successfully located and returned to their owner. Officers continue to carry out patrols, engage with residents and businesses, and work closely with investigation teams to identify offenders and prevent further offences. Residents are encouraged to report any suspicious behaviour, unusual activity or unknown vehicles as soon as possible, as information from the community plays a vital role in preventing crime and helping bring offenders to justice.
