Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability

Nuisance antisocial behaviour. Issued 20 July 2026	Officers continue to carry out targeted patrols in New Ash Green, particularly around The Row, in response to concerns about antisocial behaviour. Reports relating to the misuse of catapults have reduced in recent months, which is a positive sign that the issue is becoming less common. Regular patrols continue to provide reassurance to residents and businesses, identify emerging concerns and help prevent further incidents. Officers have also carried out vehicle stops within the village, resulting in a number of off-road bikes and vehicles being seized after being used illegally or in a way that had a negative impact on the community. Through ongoing patrols, enforcement activity and partnership working, officers continue to tackle antisocial behaviour, nuisance vehicle use and community concerns. Actioned 30 September 2026
Vehicle crime. Issued 20 July 2026	Reports of vehicle crime have reduced in the area, with only 2 offences reported during the last 2 months. While this is a positive trend, officers continue to monitor the situation and carry out patrols to help prevent further offences. Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant, secure their vehicles and report any suspicious activity, as information from the community helps officers identify offenders and keep local neighbourhoods safe. Where appropriate, police powers are used to prevent further incidents, identify those responsible and take action against offenders.
