Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Road safety issues. Issued 03 February 2026	Officers continue to monitor Hewitts Roundabout and enforce the Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) in partnership with Sevenoaks District Council. A PSPO is a legal order that sets rules for how a public area can be used and allows action to be taken against behaviour that has a negative impact on the community. Sevenoaks District Council has issued a number of fines to people found breaching the PSPO. We encourage residents to report any road safety concerns. This helps us target patrols and plan days of action with the road safety team in the areas where they are needed most. Actioned 30 March 2026
Burglary - residential. Issued 03 February 2026	There have been three reports of residential burglary in this area within the last three months. Local officers attend all residential burglaries to carry out early enquiries, look for potential suspects, and provide tailored crime‑prevention advice. Where appropriate, nearby residents are also alerted. We are working closely with our proactive Criminal Investigation Department to identify those responsible. Farming equipment thefts. Issued 03 February 2026	Local officers are increasing engagement with farmers and agricultural landowners to provide crime‑prevention advice and distribute SelectaDNA marking kits.
