Nuisance vehicles.

Officers continue to tackle nuisance vehicles through targeted patrols and enforcement activity across the ward. Working closely with Sevenoaks District Council and other partners, officers are taking action to address concerns about vehicle-related antisocial behaviour and improve road safety. Enforcement action is taken where offences are identified, including within areas covered by a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO). A PSPO is a legal measure used to address persistent antisocial behaviour in a specific location and can result in fines or further enforcement action for those who breach its conditions.

Local officers continue to gather intelligence, monitor hotspot locations and carry out targeted patrols to identify those responsible for nuisance vehicle use. Information provided by residents remains vital in helping officers identify offenders, support enforcement activity and reduce the impact of nuisance vehicles on the local community. Through ongoing patrols, enforcement and partnership working, officers continue to work to improve safety and address concerns raised by residents.

Vehicle crime.

Officers continue to tackle vehicle crime through proactive patrols and investigations. During the last 2 months, there have been 2 reports of vehicle crime in the area, including the theft of vehicle registration plates and a stolen vehicle. Following swift enquiries by officers, the stolen vehicle was quickly recovered and a suspect was arrested in connection with the offence. Officers will continue to work to prevent vehicle crime and identify those responsible. Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity, as information from the community can help officers prevent offences and bring offenders to justice.

Officers continue to address antisocial behaviour across the ward through targeted patrols, community engagement and enforcement activity. Regular patrols are carried out in areas where concerns have been raised to deter offending, identify those responsible and provide reassurance to residents. Officers continue to monitor reports, engage with local communities and work with partner agencies to address issues at an early stage and prevent further incidents. Through ongoing patrols and proactive problem-solving, officers remain committed to reducing antisocial behaviour and improving the quality of life for local residents.
