Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Nuisance vehicles. Issued 20 July 2026	Officers continue to respond to concerns about nuisance vehicles through targeted patrols and enforcement activity. Information provided by residents helps officers identify those responsible, gather intelligence and focus enforcement activity in locations where concerns are greatest. Where offences are identified, officers use appropriate road traffic and antisocial behaviour powers to take positive action and reduce the impact on the community. Although reports of nuisance vehicle-related incidents have remained low during this reporting period, officers will continue to monitor the situation and respond to concerns raised by residents. Through ongoing patrols, enforcement activity and community engagement, officers remain committed to preventing nuisance vehicle use, improving road safety and keeping local communities safe. Residents are encouraged to continue reporting incidents, as information from the public plays a vital role in helping officers identify offenders and target resources where they are most needed. A number of speed enforcement operations have been carried out across the ward, helping to identify drivers committing road traffic offences and improve safety for all road users. Further speed enforcement activity is planned over the coming weeks and months, with patrols and checks taking place at locations identified through community concerns and local intelligence. Officers will continue to carry out enforcement and engagement activity to encourage safe and considerate driving and reduce offending on local roads. Residents are encouraged to report dangerous, antisocial or inconsiderate driving, as information from the community helps officers identify problem locations, understand emerging concerns and direct patrols and enforcement activity where they are most needed. Through ongoing enforcement and community engagement, officers remain committed to improving road safety and keeping local roads safe for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians. Burglary - residential. Issued 20 July 2026	Officers continue to monitor antisocial behaviour within the ward and respond to concerns raised by residents. Reports of antisocial behaviour have remained low during this reporting period, which is encouraging and suggests that current prevention and engagement activities are having a positive impact. Officers will continue to carry out patrols where appropriate, provide reassurance to residents and take action where necessary should any issues arise. This priority will be reviewed to ensure it continues to reflect the concerns and needs of the local community. Residents are encouraged to continue reporting incidents and sharing information with Kent Police, as information from the public helps officers identify emerging issues, direct resources effectively and respond promptly to any developing concerns.
