Edenbridge North and East

Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

  • patrol to deter crime and reassure the public

  • hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns

  • work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups

  • tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability

  • build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Neighbourhood policing is a key part of Kent Police’s commitment to being community-focused, visible, and responsive.

Report crime

Please do not contact neighbourhood officers to report crime.

If it's not an emergency, the easiest way to contact us is online. Your report will be sent direct to our control room where it will be reviewed by the same team who answer our calls.

  • in an emergency, call 999

  • call 101 for non-emergency enquiries

Antisocial behaviour - nuisance.

Issued 03 February 2026

Edenbridge has been identified as a priority area for tackling antisocial behaviour. Patrols are being directed to specific locations within the town to identify and deal with those responsible. This work has led to a number of arrests and other interventions aimed at reducing antisocial behaviour.

Community Safety Officers are also continuing to work jointly with regional Rail Enforcement Officers to deter antisocial behaviour on the local rail network.

Road safety issues.

Issued 03 February 2026

Local officers continue to issue Section 59 warnings to vehicles identified as being used in antisocial behaviour. A Section 59 warning is used when a vehicle is driven in a way that causes, or is likely to cause, alarm, distress or annoyance. If the same behaviour happens again within 12 months, the vehicle can be seized.

Several vehicles have already been seized from repeat offenders.

Community officers are also working closely with the local council and landowners to address the use of vehicles on private land and prevent further problems.

Actioned 30 March 2026

Burglary - residential.

Issued 03 February 2026

Officers from several teams have been deployed to focus on reducing residential burglaries across Edenbridge and the surrounding rural areas.

This work has had a positive impact. Between February 2025 and February 2026, reports of residential burglaries in the Edenbridge South ward fell by around 84%.

Officers will continue to patrol the area, review reports and take proactive action to help prevent further burglaries and keep residents safe.
