Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Road safety. Issued 14 April 2026	Speed checks are being arranged throughout the summer in response to concerns raised about speeding in the area. These checks will help officers monitor vehicle speeds, engage with drivers and take enforcement action where necessary. Nuisance vehicles. Issued 14 April 2026	There has been 1 report of nuisance vehicle use in the area over the past 3 months. The local neighbourhood officer is aware of concerns relating to nuisance vehicles on Mapleton Road, Four Elms, and has carried out high-visibility patrols in this area, as well as in Cowden and Hever. Officers will continue to monitor these locations and respond to reports from the community. Residents are encouraged to report any concerns or incidents, as this helps officers target patrols and enforcement activity where it is needed most.
