tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Nuisance motorcycles. Issued 14 April 2026 |
Regular patrols are carried out in areas affected by nuisance motorbike activity to deter offending and identify those responsible. Where riders are identified, officers use road traffic legislation to seize vehicles where appropriate. Antisocial behaviour powers are also used to address repeat offending and discourage further nuisance behaviour. Officers will continue to patrol hotspot locations and take action against those whose actions impact the local community. Actioned 03 July 2026 |

Antisocial behaviour - general. Issued 14 April 2026 |
Targeted patrols continue in areas where reports of antisocial behaviour have been received. Community engagement remains a priority, with officers working closely with residents, local organisations and partner agencies to address concerns and provide reassurance. Where young people are involved, diversionary and educational pathways are used to help prevent further incidents, encourage positive behaviour and reduce the likelihood of repeat offending. Actioned 03 July 2026 |

Drug taking. Issued 14 April 2026 |
High-visibility patrols have been carried out in areas where concerns about drug-related activity have been raised. Where appropriate, officers have used powers under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act to stop and search individuals suspected of possessing controlled drugs. These powers allow officers to search people when there are reasonable grounds to suspect they may be carrying illegal substances. Officers will continue to patrol identified areas, respond to information from the community and take action where offences are detected. Actioned 03 July 2026 |
