Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Road safety issues. Issued 15 July 2026	Officers have continued to carry out speed checks and targeted enforcement activity in response to road safety concerns. During these operations, a number of drivers were dealt with for speeding offences, one driver was found to be driving without insurance, and two untaxed 4x4 vehicles were seized and removed from the road. Officers will continue to carry out patrols and speed checks to improve road safety and address concerns raised by residents. Actioned 30 September 2026
Nuisance motorcycles. Issued 15 July 2026	Officers continue to carry out targeted patrols in hotspot locations where nuisance motorcycles have been reported. They also work with local residents to raise awareness and encourage the reporting of incidents. This ongoing activity helps identify offenders, deter antisocial behaviour and improve safety for the local community. Actioned 30 September 2026
Catapults. Issued 15 July 2026	Officers are working with partner organisations to identify those involved in the misuse of catapults and take appropriate action where necessary. As part of this work, one suspect has been identified and officers are using a combination of engagement, education and disruption tactics to help prevent further incidents and reduce antisocial behaviour within the community.
