Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Fly tipping. Issued 14 April 2026 |
We have carried out joint days of action with Maidstone Borough Council's Waste Crime Team, targeting known fly-tipping hotspots, vehicles and suspected offenders. Ongoing intelligence sharing between partner agencies is helping to identify those responsible and take positive enforcement action. This partnership approach continues to support efforts to reduce fly-tipping, protect the local environment and hold offenders to account. Actioned 03 July 2026 |

Local Beat Officers continue to respond to reports involving catapults and carry out high-visibility patrols in identified hotspot areas. Where offenders are identified, appropriate action is taken using antisocial behaviour powers and other available measures. Actioned 03 July 2026 |

Road safety issues. Issued 14 April 2026 |
Local beat officers have carried out high-visibility patrols in areas where reports of antisocial driving and road traffic offences have been received. As part of this activity, a number of Traffic Offence Reports (TORs) have been issued. A TOR is a formal report used when a driver is suspected of committing a road traffic offence and may result in a fine, driver education course or court action. Vehicles have also been seized for offences including driving without insurance. Actioned 03 July 2026 |
