Staplehurst
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive
Neighbourhood policing is a key part of Kent Police’s commitment to being community-focused, visible, and responsive.

Catapults. Issued 14 April 2026 |

Fly tipping. Issued 14 April 2026 |
We have carried out joint days of action with Maidstone Borough Council's Waste Crime Team, targeting known fly-tipping hotspots, vehicles and suspected offenders. Ongoing intelligence sharing between partner agencies is helping to identify those responsible and support positive enforcement action. This partnership approach continues to improve our ability to tackle fly-tipping, hold offenders to account and protect local communities from environmental crime. Actioned 03 July 2026 |

Nuisance motorcycles. Issued 14 April 2026 |
Regular patrols are carried out in areas affected by nuisance motorbike activity to identify offenders and deter antisocial behaviour. Where riders are identified, officers use road traffic legislation to seize vehicles where appropriate. Antisocial behaviour powers are also used to tackle repeat offending and discourage further nuisance behaviour. Officers will continue to patrol hotspot locations and take action against those whose actions cause nuisance, alarm or distress within the community. Actioned 03 July 2026 |
