Boughton Monchelsea & Chart Sutton
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Antisocial behaviour - nuisance. Issued 15 July 2026 |
Officers have increased patrols in known antisocial behaviour hotspots, helping to reduce the number of reported incidents. They continue to engage with those identified as causing issues and take appropriate action where necessary. Opportunities for early intervention and longer-term support are also being explored to help prevent future antisocial behaviour and improve community safety. Actioned 30 September 2026 |

Road safety issues. Issued 15 July 2026 |
Officers have carried out targeted patrols on roads where safety concerns have been raised and conducted speed checks at locations identified as problem areas. They have also worked with local Community Speedwatch volunteers, who carry out speed monitoring in areas most affected by speeding. This joint approach helps identify concerns, encourage safer driving and improve road safety for everyone using local roads. Actioned 30 September 2026 |

Dog fouling. Issued 15 July 2026 |
There have been no reports of dog fouling made to Kent Police during this reporting period. Residents are encouraged to report dog fouling concerns to Maidstone Borough Council, which is the agency responsible for dealing with these issues. Actioned 30 September 2026 |
