work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Road safety issues. Issued 14 April 2026 |
Local beat officers have been carrying out high-visibility patrols in areas where reports of antisocial driving and road traffic offences have been received. While no offences have been witnessed during recent patrols, a visible police presence helps deter unlawful driving and reassure local residents. Officers will continue to patrol these areas and take appropriate action where offences are identified to help keep local roads safe. Actioned 03 July 2026 |

Theft - shoplifting. Issued 14 April 2026 |
Local beat officers have been working closely with businesses affected by theft, carrying out high-visibility patrols and reassurance visits in identified areas. This increased police presence has contributed to a reduction in reported theft offences. Officers will continue to work with businesses to identify repeat offenders and take robust action against those responsible. Ongoing partnership working and information sharing remain key to preventing crime and supporting local businesses. Actioned 03 July 2026 |
