Allington & Bridge

Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

  • patrol to deter crime and reassure the public

  • hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns

  • work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups

  • tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability

  • build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Neighbourhood policing is a key part of Kent Police’s commitment to being community-focused, visible, and responsive.

Report crime

Please do not contact neighbourhood officers to report crime.

If it's not an emergency, the easiest way to contact us is online. Your report will be sent direct to our control room where it will be reviewed by the same team who answer our calls.

  • in an emergency, call 999

  • call 101 for non-emergency enquiries

Road safety issues.

Issued 14 April 2026

We continue to listen to concerns raised by residents about road safety in areas such as Castle Road and Bluebell Way. Regular high-visibility patrols have been carried out, and local businesses have been reminded about considerate parking. As part of ongoing enforcement activity, a number of vehicles have been seized for having no valid tax or insurance. Road safety remains a priority, and officers will continue to patrol these areas and respond to concerns raised by the community.

Actioned 03 July 2026

Dog fouling.

Issued 14 April 2026

Working in partnership with Maidstone Borough Council and its Animal Welfare Licensing Officer, awareness posters and stickers have been produced and will be distributed across the area to encourage responsible dog ownership. Residents are encouraged to report incidents of dog fouling through the Maidstone Borough Council website, helping the council identify problem areas and take appropriate enforcement action where necessary.

Actioned 03 July 2026

Catapults.

Issued 14 April 2026

We are aware of reports of groups of young people using catapults in the area and have investigated each report to identify those responsible. High-visibility patrols have been increased in identified locations, and parish councils have been asked to support monitoring through local CCTV where available.

Catapult-related incidents have become a concern across the country, with reports involving damage to property, harm to wildlife and risks to members of the public. Officers continue to raise awareness through local schools and, where appropriate, use educational workbooks and early intervention measures with young people found carrying or using catapults.

Encouragingly, there has been a reduction in reports relating to catapult use over the past 3 months. Officers will continue to patrol hotspot areas, investigate reports and work with partners to prevent further incidents. Residents are encouraged to report any concerns so that appropriate action can be taken.
