Rainham North

Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

  • patrol to deter crime and reassure the public

  • hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns

  • work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups

  • tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability

  • build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Neighbourhood policing is a key part of Kent Police’s commitment to being community-focused, visible, and responsive.

Dog fouling.

Issued 15 April 2026

Officers are working closely with the local council to address concerns about dog fouling and support enforcement activity where issues are reported. Dog fouling can have a negative impact on public spaces, the local environment and public health, and responsibility for enforcing related offences rests with the local council. By sharing information and working together, police and council teams can help identify problem areas and take appropriate action where necessary. This partnership approach helps to keep parks, streets and other public spaces clean, safe and welcoming for residents and visitors.

Actioned 30 June 2026

Nuisance motorcycles.

Issued 15 April 2026

Officers responded to reports of a nuisance motorcycle that was allegedly being used in a manner that caused concern and had been linked to damage to vehicles. Following enquiries, officers prevented the rider from leaving the area and took appropriate action. The suspect was arrested and dealt with in connection with a number of offences. Tackling nuisance motorcycle use remains a priority, as this type of behaviour can create safety concerns, cause damage and have a significant impact on local residents. Officers will continue to take robust action against those who use vehicles illegally or antisocially within the community.
