Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Nuisance vehicles (e-scooters and motorbikes). Issued 21 July 2026	Tackling nuisance vehicles remains a priority for local officers. Over recent months, targeted operations and regular high-visibility patrols have been carried out in areas where residents have reported concerns. These patrols help deter the antisocial use of vehicles, identify offenders and provide reassurance to the community. Officers have taken action where offences have been identified and continue to use information provided by residents to support enforcement activity and focus patrols on problem locations. This ongoing work has contributed to a reduction in reports of nuisance vehicle incidents, and officers will continue to monitor hotspot areas and take action against those whose behaviour negatively affects local communities. Through proactive patrols and intelligence-led policing, officers have continued to identify and disrupt individuals involved in criminal activity within the area. High-visibility patrols have been carried out in locations identified through community concerns and local intelligence, helping to deter offending and provide reassurance to residents. Where evidence of criminality has been identified, officers have taken positive action, including arrests and investigations. We remain committed to tackling drug-related crime and will continue to target those involved in activities that cause harm to our communities. Actioned 30 September 2026

Regular patrols are carried out in areas where concerns have been raised, helping to deter antisocial behaviour, identify those responsible and provide reassurance to the community. Where appropriate, officers take action against offenders and use measures such as Community Resolutions and Community Protection Warnings. A Community Resolution is a way of dealing with offences outside of court, allowing offenders to take responsibility for their actions and make amends. A Community Protection Warning is a formal warning given to someone whose behaviour is having a negative impact on the community. Officers also work with local partners, review available CCTV footage and engage with families where appropriate to help prevent further incidents. This combination of prevention, engagement and enforcement helps reduce antisocial behaviour and improve community safety. Actioned 30 September 2026
