Antisocial behaviour remains a priority for local officers, who continue to carry out regular patrols in areas where concerns have been raised. These patrols help deter antisocial behaviour, provide reassurance to residents and allow officers to respond quickly to any emerging issues. Officers also use information provided by the community to identify problem locations and take action where necessary. Maintaining a visible presence and working closely with residents helps improve community safety and reduce the impact of antisocial behaviour. Residents are encouraged to continue reporting concerns so that officers can target their activity where it is needed most.

Nuisance bikes.

Concerns about nuisance bikes, e-scooters and off-road style vehicles remain a priority for local officers. Targeted patrols and enforcement activity have been carried out in response to reports from residents, resulting in a number of nuisance vehicles being seized. This includes action taken under Section 59 powers, which allow police to seize a vehicle that is being used in a way that causes alarm, distress or annoyance to the public. Officers have also worked closely with local residents, using information and CCTV footage provided by the community to identify vehicles of concern and support enforcement activity. Patrols and targeted operations will continue to help deter offending, improve community safety and address the concerns raised by local people.

Speeding.

Road safety remains an important concern for local residents, and officers continue to carry out proactive patrols in locations where speeding has been identified as an issue.

The neighbourhood policing team is also working alongside Community Speedwatch volunteers to better understand local concerns and identify areas where enforcement and prevention activity can have the greatest impact.

By maintaining a visible presence and working with local partners, we aim to encourage safer driving behaviour and improve road safety for everyone in the community.
