PC Vaz and the team have identified several locations in Westbrook where nuisance vehicles and unsafe driving keep happening. To tackle this, officers will continue carrying out regular, proactive patrols in these hotspots. Their aim is to move on anyone causing problems and reassure residents that the area is being actively monitored.

This work is supported by ongoing speed checks and vehicle stops, which help officers find and deal with drivers behaving dangerously or acting in an antisocial way. All of these actions help make Westbrook a safer, calmer and more enjoyable place for everyone.

Drug taking.

PC Vaz knows that drug use is still a concern for many people in the community, as it can cause harm and make residents feel unsafe. To help keep the area safe, he will continue responding to any new reports. PC Vaz also speaks with residents to understand their concerns and makes sure any issues are dealt with quickly and appropriately.

Noise disturbance.

PC Vaz knows that loud or unwanted noise can be very upsetting and stressful for residents. Because of this, he is keeping a close eye on noise‑related reports and is working with partner agencies to make sure the issue is dealt with properly.

Every report is checked carefully so PC Vaz can identify anyone who may be behaving in an antisocial way. He will continue to speak with people, offer advice and take action where needed to protect the wellbeing of the whole community.
