Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Antisocial behaviour - nuisance. Issued 15 July 2026	PC Beard and PC Smith continue to tackle antisocial behaviour across the area through high-visibility patrols and targeted enforcement activity. Working alongside the Neighbourhood Task Force, they focus on hotspot locations and take action against those causing problems. Where necessary, officers use dispersal powers to direct individuals to leave an area if their behaviour is causing harassment, alarm or distress. They also use Community Protection Warnings and Community Protection Notices to address persistent antisocial behaviour. A Community Protection Warning is a formal warning, while a Community Protection Notice is a legal notice that can lead to further action if the behaviour continues. Through targeted patrols and enforcement activity, they work to identify those using these vehicles unlawfully and take appropriate action where offences are committed. Supported by the Neighbourhood Task Force, officers focus on areas where concerns have been raised, helping to improve safety for residents, pedestrians and other road users. Residents are encouraged to report issues through local community meetings or My Community Voice, as information from the public helps officers target patrols and take action. Information provided by residents helps officers focus their efforts where they are needed most, and the team will continue to take action against those responsible while working to keep the community safe.
