Woodstock

Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

  • patrol to deter crime and reassure the public

  • hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns

  • work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups

  • tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability

  • build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Neighbourhood policing is a key part of Kent Police’s commitment to being community-focused, visible, and responsive.

Report crime

Please do not contact neighbourhood officers to report crime.

If it's not an emergency, the easiest way to contact us is online. Your report will be sent direct to our control room where it will be reviewed by the same team who answer our calls.

  • in an emergency, call 999

  • call 101 for non-emergency enquiries

Local Priority Issues

Priority Action taken

Antisocial behaviour - nuisance.

Issued 03 February 2026

We have increased high‑visibility patrols and engaged directly with members of the community. This proactive presence, combined with our partnership work, has led to a noticeable reduction in calls linked to antisocial behaviour.

Since 1 January 2026, we have received only three reports of nuisance youth, which is reassuring and suggests that targeted patrols are having a positive impact.

E-scooters/e-bikes.

Issued 03 February 2026

On several days, your Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out targeted patrols focusing on e‑scooters and e‑bikes. Where these vehicles were found being used illegally, they were seized. Officers have also been engaging with riders and the wider community, offering advice on safe and lawful use.

As a result of this work, we are pleased to report that there have been no recent calls about e‑scooters or e‑bikes. This is reassuring and shows the positive impact of engagement and visible patrols in the area.

Theft shoplifting.

Issued 03 February 2026

We have had two recent shoplifting incidents, both resulting in strong outcomes. One suspect has been charged and remanded. Another suspect has been postal‑charged, which means the charge has been issued by post rather than at a police station. A separate incident from January has also resulted in a charge, showing continued follow‑up and successful identification of offenders.

We are pleased to report that no other shoplifting incidents have been recorded in this ward at this time. This is reassuring and reflects positive outcomes from recent investigations.
