Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Issued 21 July 2026	Officers have carried out targeted high-visibility patrols and proactive operations across Minster Cliffs and the wider Isle of Sheppey to tackle nuisance vehicle use. Dedicated enforcement days have focused on identifying vehicles being used illegally, dangerously, or in an antisocial manner. Using information provided by residents, officers have directed patrols to hotspot locations and taken positive action where offences have been identified. This has included stopping vehicles, carrying out roadside checks, and seizing vehicles where appropriate. Both marked and unmarked patrols continue to be used to identify offenders and disrupt nuisance vehicle activity. Actioned 30 September 2026
Antisocial behaviour nuisance youths. Issued 21 July 2026	Officers have increased high-visibility patrols in identified hotspot locations to deter antisocial behaviour and provide reassurance to residents. Through engagement with young people, schools, local businesses and partner agencies, officers have worked to address concerns at an early stage and prevent repeat incidents. Positive action has been taken where individuals have been identified, while partnership working has supported longer-term solutions for those involved in antisocial behaviour. Officers have also supported diversionary activities and educational initiatives designed to encourage positive choices and stronger community involvement. Catapults. Issued 21 July 2026	Officers have responded to reports of catapult misuse by carrying out enquiries, reviewing available CCTV opportunities, and conducting targeted patrols in locations highlighted by the community. Where individuals have been identified, appropriate action has been taken, and officers have engaged with young people and their families to educate them on the consequences of this behaviour and the harm it can cause to wildlife. Continued patrols and community engagement have helped deter further incidents, increase awareness, and provide reassurance that reports are being taken seriously and investigated appropriately.
