Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Issued 21 July 2026	PC Blakeman has carried out regular community drop-in sessions and engagement with local residents, valuable information has been provided to help identify those responsible. Officers continue to carry out regular patrols and have taken positive action where concerns have been reported, including identifying riders and addressing unlawful use. Road safety. Issued 21 July 2026	Officers have carried out dedicated speed enforcement activity in areas where road safety concerns have been raised. They have engaged with motorists about safe and considerate driving and taken action where necessary. Warning letters have also been issued to drivers reported for antisocial driving, advising them of the impact their behaviour has on the community and warning that continued offending could result in further enforcement action, including vehicle seizure. Antisocial behaviour - youths. Issued 21 July 2026	Officers have carried out proactive high-visibility patrols in identified hotspot locations, particularly during the times when incidents are most likely to occur. Through targeted patrol activity, engagement with local residents, and partnership working, officers have been able to identify those responsible for antisocial behaviour and take appropriate action where necessary. This ongoing work helps deter offending, provides reassurance to the community, and ensures concerns raised by residents are addressed effectively. Following reports of wildlife being targeted with catapults in the Bobbing underpass area, officers conducted enquiries which led to a male being identified.
