Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Road safety issues. Issued 15 July 2026	Following reports from local residents, officers have been carrying out road safety patrols across the district. This work includes monitoring speeds, stopping vehicles, and taking action against drivers who break the law, such as speeding, using a mobile phone while driving, or driving in a way that causes danger or nuisance to others. We will continue to patrol locations where concerns have been raised and work with partner organisations to help make our roads safer. Antisocial behaviour - nuisance. Issued 15 July 2026	Following reports of antisocial behaviour, officers have carried out high-visibility foot and vehicle patrols in villages where concerns have been raised, both through reports to Kent Police and at local police drop-in sessions. These patrols have provided opportunities to speak with people believed to be involved, offering advice and encouraging positive behaviour, while also providing a visible police presence to help prevent further issues and reassure local communities. Nuisance motorcycles. Issued 15 July 2026	We understand the concerns local residents have raised about antisocial behaviour involving motorcycles and stolen motorbikes. Officers have been carrying out targeted enforcement activity across the area, leading to arrests and the seizure of motorcycles linked to crime and antisocial behaviour. Patrols continue in locations where problems have been reported, using information provided by local people and partner organisations. Alongside enforcement activity, we are working with local authorities, youth services, schools and safeguarding professionals to address the causes of this behaviour and provide support to young people who may be involved. Our aim is not only to deal with those responsible, but also to prevent future offending and reduce harm. We remain committed to taking action against behaviour that causes distress to our communities and would like to thank residents who continue to report incidents and share information.
