Mill Hill
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive
Neighbourhood policing is a key part of Kent Police’s commitment to being community-focused, visible, and responsive.

Road safety issues. Issued 14 April 2026 |
We have continued both high-visibility and plain clothes patrols in vehicles and on foot to address road safety concerns in the Mill Hill area. This has included seizing illegal e-scooters, taking action against drivers who break road traffic laws and, where necessary, seizing vehicles. Actioned 10 June 2026 |

e-scooter/bikes. Issued 14 April 2026 |
We have carried out dedicated ‘action days’ to deal with illegal e-scooters, with officers out in the area to take action where needed. The number of e-scooters being used illegally is starting to reduce, as more people understand that they are not legal to use on public roads unless strict requirements are met, such as having a driving licence, insurance, road tax and a registration plate, which most private e-scooters do not have. Actioned 10 June 2026 |

Vehicle crime. Issued 14 April 2026 |
Over recent months, there have been reports of a man entering unlocked vehicles in Deal during the night and stealing items left inside. In every case, the vehicles were not locked. There is no evidence that tools were used to gain access, so it is important to make sure your vehicle is always securely locked to help prevent this type of crime. Actioned 10 June 2026 |
