Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Vehicle crime. Issued 03 February 2026 |
Vehicle crime was identified as a priority after reports showed it had increased in the area. Officers have since located a stolen vehicle and identified those responsible. The offenders have been dealt with, and further work is taking place to make sure officers are aware of, and able to respond quickly to, similar thefts. Actioned 27 March 2026 |

Antisocial behaviour - nuisance. Issued 03 February 2026 |
We have been carrying out targeted patrols in areas affected by nuisance antisocial behaviour. Officers have spoken to those involved to give advice and clearly explain what behaviour is expected. Actioned 27 March 2026 |

Nuisance motorcycles. Issued 03 February 2026 |
We are taking proactive action against motorists who are not following road traffic laws. Officers have been carrying out high‑visibility patrols in affected areas, completing speed checks using handheld devices, and stopping and reporting drivers where appropriate. Officers also give advice and education to drivers whose behaviour falls below the expected standard. Actioned 27 March 2026 |
