Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Antisocial behaviour - nuisance. Issued 15 July 2026	We have carried out targeted patrols in response to concerns around antisocial behaviour in the area. This has included both marked and unmarked vehicle patrols, as well as increased foot patrols to provide a visible presence, engage with the community, and deter further incidents. During these patrols, we have also engaged with individuals involved and, where appropriate, provided advice and education to address behaviour and prevent escalation. Officers have stopped a number of vehicles, engaging with drivers and ensuring compliance with road traffic legislation. Where offences have been identified, appropriate action has been taken, including issuing tickets and reporting drivers for offences. In more serious cases, vehicles have been seized. We have also specifically targeted nuisance motorcycles and quad bikes, focusing patrols in areas where these vehicles have been causing concern. This work aims to reduce antisocial behaviour, improve safety for residents, and disrupt ongoing issues caused by irresponsible use. Actioned 30 September 2026
Drug dealing. Issued 15 July 2026	We have been carrying out proactive work to tackle drug dealing and associated antisocial behaviour within the community. This has included both high-visibility and plain-clothed patrols in areas where concerns have been raised, allowing officers to gather intelligence, disrupt criminal activity, and provide reassurance to residents. As part of this activity, we have conducted a number of stop searches, vehicle stops, and checks on individuals suspected of being involved in drug-related offences. Where offences have been identified, positive action has been taken, including arrests and the seizure of drugs and other evidential items where appropriate. We continue to work closely with specialist teams and partner agencies to identify those involved in the supply of controlled drugs, disrupt their activities, and safeguard vulnerable members of the community who may be affected by drug-related crime. We encourage residents to continue reporting any suspicious activity, as information provided by the public plays a vital role in helping us target our efforts effectively.
