St Radigunds

Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

  • patrol to deter crime and reassure the public

  • hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns

  • work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups

  • tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability

  • build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Neighbourhood policing is a key part of Kent Police’s commitment to being community-focused, visible, and responsive.

Report crime

Please do not contact neighbourhood officers to report crime.

If it's not an emergency, the easiest way to contact us is online. Your report will be sent direct to our control room where it will be reviewed by the same team who answer our calls.

  • in an emergency, call 999

  • call 101 for non-emergency enquiries

Drug taking.

Issued 03 February 2026

We have carried out plain‑clothes patrols in areas identified as hotspots for drug‑related activity. Officers stopped and spoke with people linked to this activity and submitted detailed intelligence reports.

This work directly led to several arrests, with those involved later prosecuted using the evidence gathered. Police presence was increased to disrupt drug taking and drug dealing, and information collected was shared with proactive teams to support ongoing enforcement and provide reassurance to the local community.

Antisocial behaviour - nuisance.

Issued 03 February 2026

We have carried out targeted patrols in areas affected by nuisance‑related antisocial behaviour. Officers spoke with those involved to give advice and explain what behaviour is expected.

We also spoke with local residents to gather further information, monitored locations where repeat issues have been reported, and submitted relevant intelligence to support problem‑solving work. Where appropriate, officers worked with partner agencies, such as housing providers, to address underlying issues and ensure a coordinated response.

Road safety.

Issued 03 February 2026

We carried out targeted, high‑visibility patrols in areas where concerns were raised and completed speed checks using a handheld device. Where necessary, drivers were given warnings or reported for offences. Officers also provided advice and education to drivers whose behaviour fell below the expected standard.

Alongside this activity, officers spoke with local residents to offer reassurance. Ongoing concerns raised by the community have been shared with Kent County Council Highways so they can consider longer‑term solutions, such as improved signage or traffic‑calming measures.
