Buckland
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.
Our officers will:
patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive
Neighbourhood policing is a key part of Kent Police’s commitment to being community-focused, visible, and responsive.
Report crime
Please do not contact neighbourhood officers to report crime.
If it's not an emergency, the easiest way to contact us is online. Your report will be sent direct to our control room where it will be reviewed by the same team who answer our calls.

Antisocial behaviour - nuisance. Issued 14 April 2026 |
We have carried out high-visibility foot and mobile patrols in villages where concerns about antisocial behaviour have been reported, both directly to Kent Police and at local police drop-in sessions. These patrols have helped officers speak with people suspected of being involved, offering advice and support to help prevent further issues, while also providing a visible police presence to discourage this behaviour. We will continue to work with partner organisations to help reduce this type of activity. Actioned 10 June 2026 |

Nuisance motorcycles. Issued 14 April 2026 |
Three people have been arrested in connection with stolen motorcycles, and enquiries are ongoing. These bikes had been used to cause nuisance in the community. In response, there has been an increase in high-visibility patrols, which has helped to reduce nuisance riding in areas where issues have been reported. Actioned 10 June 2026 |

Dog fouling. Issued 14 April 2026 |
Dog fouling has been identified as a key concern in the Buckland ward, as it affects the cleanliness of public spaces and the enjoyment of the area. Kent Police is working with local partners to help address this issue by encouraging responsible dog ownership and reminding people of their legal duty to clear up after their pets. While enforcement action is led by Dover District Council, officers will continue to support patrols in known problem areas and speak with the public. Residents are encouraged to report incidents to Dover District Council so that appropriate action can be taken. Actioned 10 June 2026 |
