Officers have worked closely with local residents and community representatives to build a better understanding of concerns about the use of e-scooters and e-bikes in the area. This has included attending community meetings, speaking with local councillors and gathering information from the public to help identify problem locations and those responsible. Officers have also carried out targeted patrols in areas where concerns have been raised to deter offending, identify offenders and provide reassurance to the community. Patrols and engagement activity will continue to help address the issue and improve safety for local residents.

Highway obstructions.

Officers continue to respond to reports of vehicles obstructing driveways and footpaths. When concerns are raised, officers engage with drivers to explain the impact of their parking and provide advice on parking safely and considerately. This ongoing work helps improve access for residents, pedestrians and people with mobility needs, while supporting road safety within the community.

Following concerns about speeding in the area, officers carried out targeted speed enforcement operations in locations identified as problem areas. These checks were carried out on several occasions throughout the summer to identify and take action against drivers exceeding the speed limit. Officers have also conducted regular patrols in the area to deter unsafe driving, respond to residents' concerns and help improve road safety for everyone using the roads.
