Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Issued 15 July 2026	Officers have increased their activity to tackle concerns about drug dealing in the area, carrying out targeted patrols and stop and searches where there are lawful grounds. Information provided by local residents has helped officers focus their efforts on locations where concerns are greatest. Officers are also seeking a Closure Order for a property linked to suspected criminal activity. A Closure Order is a court order that can temporarily restrict access to a property where serious antisocial behaviour or criminal activity is taking place. Officers have also gathered feedback from local residents through community surveys to help better understand concerns and shape their response to this issue. Actioned 30 September 2026
Antisocial behaviour - nuisance. Issued 15 July 2026	Officers continue to work with partners to tackle antisocial behaviour linked to street drinking and noise nuisance. Regular patrols are carried out in the area to deter this behaviour, provide reassurance to residents and improve community safety. Enforcement action is supported by a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO), which is a legal measure used to address persistent antisocial behaviour in a specific area. As a result of ongoing work, one person believed to be a significant contributor to these issues has been arrested, and officers continue to monitor concerns raised by the community. This has included attending community meetings, speaking with local councillors and gathering information from the public to help identify problem locations and those responsible. Officers have also carried out targeted patrols in areas where concerns have been raised to deter offending, identify offenders and provide reassurance to the community.
