Drug dealing.

Officers carry out regular patrols in areas where concerns about drug dealing have been raised and take proactive action to identify those involved in criminal activity. This includes stop and searches where there are lawful grounds and arrests when offences are detected. As a result of this work, one offender was charged with possession with intent to supply drugs, which is an offence where someone is suspected of holding controlled drugs for distribution or sale rather than personal use. Officers continue to patrol areas identified as higher risk to deter offending, gather intelligence and help keep local communities safe.

Nuisance vehicles.

Officers carry out targeted patrols in areas where concerns about nuisance bikes have been raised, using information provided by residents to focus activity where it is needed most. As a result of this work, an illegally used motorcycle was seized and removed from the road. Officers continue to monitor locations where nuisance bikes are reported and take action to help reduce antisocial behaviour, improve road safety and respond to community concerns.
