Drug use. Issued 16 April 2026 |
PC Andrews has carried out proactive patrols in areas where concerns about drug use have been reported. These patrols help officers identify and address drug-related activity while providing reassurance to local residents. During these patrols, individuals suspected of committing offences have been identified and dealt with using the most appropriate action available to police. By maintaining a visible presence in known problem areas, PC Andrews aims to deter drug use, reduce associated crime and antisocial behaviour, and help keep the community safe. Antisocial behaviour - general. Issued 16 April 2026 |
PC Andrews has been working to support and safeguard the local community in response to concerns about antisocial behaviour linked to alcohol consumption. This has included working with individuals, businesses and partner agencies to address the factors contributing to these issues and provide appropriate support where needed. Following this intervention, no further reports have been received. Warnings have been issued to individuals and premises connected to antisocial behaviour or activities that may have contributed to it. In addition, action has been taken to address concerns involving a person who was regularly begging and causing a nuisance in the local area. These actions have helped to reduce antisocial behaviour and improve the quality of life for local residents, businesses and visitors. Actioned 30 June 2026 |

Drug dealing. Issued 16 April 2026 |
PC Andrews has carried out proactive patrols across the ward, both in uniform and in plain clothes, to help prevent and detect crime. These patrols allow officers to gather information, identify people suspected of being involved in criminal activity and respond quickly to local concerns. As part of this ongoing work, PC Andrews is identifying individuals linked to reported offences and taking action using the appropriate police powers and legislation. Officers have also executed a number of search warrants during this period, with positive results. A search warrant is a legal document authorised by a court that allows police to search a property for evidence linked to suspected criminal activity. This work will continue as part of efforts to disrupt offending, gather evidence and keep the community safe. Actioned 30 June 2026 |
