PC Shoker has been focusing patrols in areas where concerns about drug dealing have been reported. This has included both high-visibility patrols, where officers are clearly visible to the public, and plain clothes patrols, where officers do not wear uniform. The aim of these patrols is to gather information, deter criminal activity and reassure local residents. Officers are continuing to carry out enquiries and investigate reports of suspected drug-related activity. This work remains ongoing as police seek to identify those involved and take appropriate action to keep the community safe. Actioned 30 June 2026 |

Road safety. Issued 16 April 2026 |
PC Shoker has increased patrols in the area to improve road safety and tackle poor driving. As part of this work, he has issued Traffic Offence Reports (TOR) and spoken directly with drivers about safe and responsible driving. A TOR is a formal record created by police when someone is suspected of committing a road traffic offence. Depending on the circumstances, this can result in a fixed penalty notice, a driver education course or a court appearance. Over the past 3 months, several vehicles have been seized because of concerns about driver behaviour and other road traffic offences. PC Shoker is also exploring opportunities to introduce future Speedwatch campaigns. Speedwatch is a community scheme that allows trained volunteers to work alongside the police to monitor vehicle speeds and help raise awareness of speeding in their local area. The aim is to encourage safer driving and support efforts to keep local communities safe. Actioned 30 June 2026 |
