Officers acted on information provided by the community about suspected drug use and dealing at a local address. This led to a warrant being carried out at the property, resulting in the arrest of one person. A warrant allows officers to enter and search a property when there are reasonable grounds to believe evidence of an offence may be found. Officers have also carried out a number of targeted operations in the area to address drug-related activity and other neighbourhood priorities, helping to deter offending and improve community safety.

Antisocial behaviour.

Officers have carried out targeted patrols in areas where antisocial behaviour has been reported to help deter offending and identify those responsible. Patrol locations are regularly reviewed using information provided by residents and local communities, helping officers focus their activity on the areas most affected. Officers will continue to work with the community, gather information and carry out patrols to address concerns and improve neighbourhood safety.

Nuisance bikes.

Officers have carried out targeted patrols in areas where nuisance bikes have been causing concern. These patrols are aimed at deterring offending, identifying those responsible and responding to concerns raised by local residents. As part of this work, officers have disrupted the use of illegal bikes in the area and moved a number of riders on from locations where they were causing problems. Patrols will continue in known hotspot locations to help improve community safety and reduce antisocial behaviour.
