Ebbsfleet

Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

  • patrol to deter crime and reassure the public

  • hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns

  • work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups

  • tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability

  • build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Neighbourhood policing is a key part of Kent Police’s commitment to being community-focused, visible, and responsive.

Local Priority Issues

Priority Action taken

Graffiti.

Issued 16 April 2026

We are working with officers from nearby areas to tackle graffiti. A database has been created to track common “tags” (names or symbols used by graffiti offenders) and identify where they are active.

This work has led to social media enquiries, and we are using this information to identify a suspect linked to graffiti seen across the borough.

E-scooters /e-bikes.

Issued 16 April 2026

Officers are supporting Dartford Borough Council to enforce a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO). A PSPO is a legal order that helps prevent antisocial behaviour in public areas.

Officers have stopped and seized illegal e-scooters, e-bikes and e-motorbikes where possible. Kent Police also took part in a recent national day of action to tackle the unsafe and unlawful use of these vehicles.

Issued 16 April 2026

A police-led multi-agency operation to tackle antisocial behaviour (ASB) has been extended into Ebbsfleet due to issues spreading from Swanscombe.
