Nuisance bikes.

Officers have carried out regular patrols in the area using both marked and unmarked vehicles to tackle nuisance bikes and improve community safety. This work has resulted in a number of bikes being seized and people being arrested in connection with related offences. Officers have also joined local councillors on drive-arounds to discuss community concerns and identify problem locations. Several targeted days of action have taken place, with additional patrols focused on identifying and dealing with nuisance vehicles. Information gathered from patrols, reports from residents and wider community engagement is helping officers build a clearer understanding of the issue and support future action against those responsible.

Fly tipping.

Officers regularly patrol rural roads and country lanes where fly-tipping has been reported. They continue to encourage residents to report incidents to the local council and other relevant organisations, helping to ensure that reports are directed to the agencies responsible for investigating offences, removing waste and taking appropriate action. Officers also work with partner organisations to share information and support efforts to reduce fly-tipping and protect the local environment.

Litter - dog fouling.

Officers are aware of concerns about littering and dog fouling in the area. While these issues are not usually police matters, they can have a significant impact on local communities. The local council is aware of the concerns and has responsibility for investigating reports, carrying out enforcement where appropriate and taking steps to reduce these issues. Officers will continue to work with partner agencies and share information where needed to support community concerns.
