Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is made up of Kent Police beat officers who are dedicated to keeping your community safe. They focus on preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, responding to local concerns, and building strong relationships with residents, community groups and local businesses.

Our officers will:

patrol to deter crime and reassure the public
hold regular engagement activities in the area, including attending community meetings to share advice and listen to concerns
work with partner agencies including councils, schools, charities, and local groups
tackle issues like antisocial behaviour, repeat offending, and vulnerability
build trust by being visible, approachable, and responsive

Antisocial behaviour. Issued 03 February 2026	The ward officer, PC Hodge, has been carrying out frequent patrols in the local area. After working with partner agencies, one individual identified as contributing to ongoing issues has now been moved away from the area. Work is now focused on a problem location in Gunn Road. Discussions are taking place with the council and the local MP about CCTV and other safeguarding measures. Officers are also continuing to work with Dartford Borough Council Housing to identify and take action against persistent offenders. Actioned 31 March 2026
Fly tipping. Issued 03 February 2026	PC Hodge has been working with Dartford Borough Council to address issues linked to illegal rubbish dumping and dog fouling. Work is ongoing to identify locations that are more vulnerable and to look at what further steps can be taken to help prevent these issues from happening. Actioned 31 March 2026
Drug use. Issued 03 February 2026	PC Hodge has been carrying out high‑visibility patrols in the area, both on foot and in marked police vehicles. He has also been joined by the local Dartford MP during some foot patrols. During this work, particular attention has been given to areas known to be linked to drug‑related activity.
