Noise disturbance. Issued 22 April 2026 |
Concerns about noise disturbance in the area have been recognised and officers have engaged with local residents to better understand the issues affecting the community. Through these conversations, officers have been able to identify some of the sources of the noise and work with those involved to minimise the impact on nearby residents. This has included providing advice and encouraging responsible behaviour to help reduce noise pollution and prevent ongoing disruption. Officers will continue to work with the community and partner agencies where appropriate to address concerns and help ensure the area has a positive and welcoming environment for residents. Drug taking. Issued 22 April 2026 |
Officers have worked closely with the community to identify areas where concerns about drug use have been reported. In response, targeted patrols have been carried out at different times of the day to deter drug-related activity, gather information and provide reassurance to local residents. By focusing patrols on the areas of greatest concern, officers are able to respond more effectively to community reports and address issues that may affect local people. Officers will continue to patrol these locations and take appropriate action to tackle drug use and help keep Chestfield a safe and welcoming place to live, work and visit. Actioned 30 June 2026 |

Drink/drug driving. Issued 22 April 2026 |
Officers have carried out patrols in both marked and unmarked police vehicles to help tackle drink-driving and drug-driving offences and improve road safety. As part of this work, several people have been arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Officers also carried out speed enforcement checks on 2 June 2026 as part of ongoing efforts to address road safety concerns within the area. During these checks, drivers who were stopped were not found to be over the legal limits for alcohol or drugs. Police will continue to carry out enforcement and education activities to deter dangerous driving, improve road safety and help protect all road users. Actioned 30 June 2026 |
