🚨 COMMUNITY SAFETY NOTICE – VEHICLE CRIME 🚨

We would like to make residents aware of recent reports of vehicle-related crime in the local area.

There has been growing concern around vehicles being targeted, and we would encourage everyone to remain vigilant and take a few simple precautions to help protect their vehicles and belongings.

🔒 A few simple ways to help keep your vehicle safe:

🚗 Always lock your vehicle, even if you're only leaving it for a few minutes.

🔑 Never leave your keys or key fobs on display or somewhere easily accessible.

👜 Make sure valuables, bags, wallets, phones and other belongings are removed from your vehicle or kept completely out of sight.

🏠 If possible, park in a well-lit area, ideally somewhere covered by CCTV or within view of your property.

📱 Consider using additional security measures such as steering wheel locks, dash cameras, alarms or tracking devices.

🚪 Double-check that all windows, doors and the boot are securely closed before leaving your vehicle.

👀 Stay alert and report any suspicious activity or individuals who appear to be targeting vehicles.

📞 If you witness a crime or notice suspicious activity, please report it to the police. If a crime is happening right now or someone is in immediate danger, call 999. For non-emergency reports, contact 101.
