As per my post yesterday we had dedicated ASB patrols within the district, and a dispersal order authorised within River to combat any issues. Whilst a majority of children and families enjoyed the Halloween festivities, we did get a number of calls regarding youths drinking in the recreation ground and surrounding roads including the abbey. 

We attended and seized numerous containers of alcohol and one person was subject to a section 23 misuse of drugs act search. Several groups were told to disperse and did so vacating the village without any further issues. 

We are aware that several residents have expressed concerns of large gatherings of youths within the village and want to reassure you that we take concerns seriously and where criminality occurs we will seek to deal with the matters promptly.
