Weekly Update

PC Latter and PC Cartwright conducted a successful engagement at Bedgebury this weekend, with officers speaking to a large number of Parkrun participants and visitors. Thank you to everyone who took the time to chat with us and discuss local concerns.

We are currently aware of reports relating to:

Shed and garage breaks across the local area.

Suspicious individuals seen in Lamberhurst looking at vehicles parked on driveways.

A reported theft of a motor vehicle in Goudhurst.

Enquiries are ongoing in relation to each of these incidents.

Please remain vigilant and take the opportunity to review your home and vehicle security. Ensure sheds, garages and vehicles are locked, valuables are removed from sight, and any security lighting or CCTV is functioning correctly.

If you see any suspicious activity, suspicious individuals, or vehicles causing concern, please report this to police as soon as possible. Prompt reporting helps us attend, gather information and build a clearer picture of activity affecting our communities.

In an emergency, always call 999. For non-emergency matters, report online or call 101.

If there are any issues you would like us to be aware of, then please do contact us via MCV, 101 or report online.

Thank you for your continued support and assistance in helping keep our communities safe.
