👮 Thanet Neighbourhood Task Force Inspires Local Cubs and Scouts

Last Thursday evening, officers from the Thanet Neighbourhood Task Force visited the Minster Cubs and Scouts group to talk about policing and how we help keep our communities safe.

The young people had the opportunity to try on police equipment and learn how it is used by officers in their daily duties. They also discovered the importance of protecting crime scenes and even helped create their own police cordon.

The visit concluded with an engaging question-and-answer session, where the children asked lots of great questions about policing and police work.

The group thoroughly enjoyed the experience and left excited to share what they had learned with their families. Thank you to all the officers involved for supporting this fantastic community engagement event and helping to build positive relationships with our young people.
